The Cafe Alba was established in 1993 and has since provided the populace of Hackney with a unique blend of transglobal cuisine and Art. It was intended from the beginning that it should serve as a showcase for Artists in a friendly and laid back atmosphere without the constraints of more typical galleries. Artists have found the opportunity to try out new work very useful, be it as a chance to see the work hanging or to gauge the reactions of the clientele. Previously exhibited Artists are required to supply three images for inclusion on the café Alba gallery archive website - www.cafealba.freeuk.com, Jpegs can be emailed to me preferably or send slides.
